A pyramid is a monumental structure with a square or triangular base and sloping sides that meet in a point at the top. These pyramids served as tombs for kings and as landmarks for travelers.

A dynasty is a line of hereditary rulers of a country. The significance of the dynasties of Egypt is how these dynasties kept the nation alive. The dynasties kept Egypt alive by keeping a religion and rules from father to son. This way there would be no conflict on who was pharo.

The red land of Egypt was dessert that surrounded and protect Egypt from all sides. The black land however was the only land that was good for farming. Without the black land Egypt would have no protection. Yet without the red land, Egypt would die due to starvation because there would be no crops.
