How the Nile river helped the agriculture and economy of Egypt develop(when it flooded):
The Nile river and its flooding was very important to the ancient Egyptian's. The Nile flooding was important because when the Nile flooded, it brought silt into the land. Silt is a fertile soil that is amazing for farming. With this great soil nearby, the Egyptians had a strong agricultural system with plenty food to go around. In addition, the growth in agriculture boosted the economy. This allowed further trade throughout Egypt and its allies. Having a great economy like Egypt allowed Egypt to about 3000 years. The Nile is a huge part of Egypt's geography that helped ancient Egypt thrive. How did Geography impact the ancient Egyptians: Geography impacted the ancient Egyptians in many ways. One way the geography impacted the Egyptians is that the harsh climate forced the Egyptians to settle near the Nile river. Near the Nile river the land was fertile and had many good plants and a plentiful supply of animals. This impacted where the Egyptians lived and what resources they had. With the help of the Nile, Egypt was able to thrive even in the hot desert like climate surrounding them. How the Egyptians were protected by their physical environment:Egyptians were protected by their physical environment is a variety of ways. One way they were protected by their physical environment is that the Nile's cataracts and marshy delta made it hard for intruders to invade. These obstacles slowed the enemy down and gave Egyptians the "high ground" on their enemy. Another way the Egyptians were protected by their physical environment is that the gigantic desert made it hard to sneak into Egypt(to invade). The desert provides a kind of wall from 3 sides. The remaining side could be focused on by the guards. These physical protections helped Egypt survive for so many years.

This is a primary source document of ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs. From these hieroglyphs, I can conclude that the Egyptians had the resources to create tablets to write and draw on. I know this because they could not write these hieroglyphs without the resources of papyrus paper and reed pens. The hieroglyphs also explain the Egyptian gods and goddesses, and the plants and animals that lived in Egypt at the time. You can see in this picture that there are drawings of birds, gods. goddesses, animals, plants and people.
Why was the Nile important to the ancient Egyptians: The Nile was very important to the ancient Egyptians. For example, the Nile provided Egypt with many plants and animals to eat. In other parts of Egypt there was not as much food to eat. In addition, the Nile gave Egypt resources to use. Some of the resources the Nile gave includes papyrus, fish, trees, animals, and silt. These resources allowed Egypt do develop faster than most other civilizations at the time. The Nile gave Egypt many things that allowed Egypt to thrive.
